Graduation Year

As you saw  with that very extravagant and self-ego stroking post I last put up, we are going to have a “Graduation Year” after all.

I do feel we can leave this thing with some kind of understanding and resolution. We will graduate from these pages… well I plan to at least. I hope to take most of you with me, but that’s all up to you I suppose. I know there will be some who will have to be held back. That’s unfortunate, but it is what it is. I’m afraid those of you who have been behind all along still wont be ready a year from now. In fact you may never be ready. But you can’t say I didn’t try… not even with the nuttiest of you (that’s you Nan Nan). I tried… yes, I tried.

Before we can put on that cap & gown though, we still have to get to some things I left hanging last year. I’m gonna have to go in a do a little tweaking but for the most part the posts are ready to go.

I know these next post aren’t gonna be easy for some of you just as I know they are gonna be a lot of fun for others. I’ll probably make a few more fans while I justify my haters’ hate. Speaking of fans, isn’t it crazy that I actually have some fans out there?

I actually met one the other day. We had a discussion about the nickname Zero. As most long time reader know, you call me Zero here on the blog. It’s a respect thing. Plus back when Dorothy was a little to comfortable with my birth name I made it a rule, lol. You must refer to me as Zero here. But in real life people call me what they feel comfortable with. I like to be called Zero, but let’s face it, my mom is never gonna call me that. There are people I know who don’t get it, they think Zero is a bad thing to be called. Which I get and take as a complement. I obviously don’t feel that way though. Zero is a very deep and well thought out nickname. Well this fan (lol, I love saying that) and I were discussing this and they told me they liked my nickname and they knew that zero had multiple definitions, and that it was a much deeper nickname than what may appear on the surface. My fan sent me 2 definitions they thought of when they read my blog:

adjust (an instrument) to zero. – evolved/evolution

set the sights of (a gun) for firing.

As many of you know, I love it when you get me ( I can be very complicated). And I love these 2 definitions. The first one is exactly where I want us to be at the end of all this. Evolved, changed, because we adjusted back to zero. Good stuff, right?

But that other definition, it sure does fit where we are at this moment, still stuck in Dorothy’ war.

So let me set my sights, zero in, and finish this.
